The footed Duchess tea cup features a large golden yellow rose on the front with pink and mauve flowers, and a smaller rose on the back. Hand-painted gold trim along the gently scalloped lip, along the outside handle and along the base of the foot. We believe this is Duchess' pattern number 59. The teacup measures 2-7/8" tall, 3-1/2" in diameter and 4-3/8" from the outside edge of the handle to the outside tip of the lip. The matching saucer also has a gently scalloped edge trimmed in gold. It measures 5-1/2" in diameter.
