Very pretty vintage ROYAL VALE English Bone China Footed Teacup & Saucer Set with pink & mauve flowers, variegated pink and gray leaves and branches and scalloped edges with hand-painted gold trim. (c. 1960's) Excellent condition with no chips, cracks or crazing to note. Some gold wear noted as would be expected in a set of this age. Retro colors!
The footed teacup (tea cup) features a large spray of pink and mauve flowers with a smaller spray on the backside. Gently scalloped edges with hand-painted gold trim and a band of gold trim at the footed base. This vintage footed Royal Vale teacup measures 2-3/4" tall, 3-3/8" in diameter and 4" from the outside edge of the handle to the outside tip of the teacup lip.
The matching Royal Vale teacup saucer measures 5-1/2" in diameter and also features the large and small spray of pink and mauve flowers, with a gently scalloped edge trimmed in gold. Both pieces are backstamped ROYAL VALE Bone China Made in England.
